Parents or Guardians;

         We’ve been getting pretty messy in the art room and need your help! If you are able, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please send your child in with 1 or 2 packages of baby wipes to help keep the art room and our little artists clean.
 Thank you in advance for your constant support of the arts program at P.S. 31. I am looking forward to continuing a great year!

Best Regards,
Ms. Ciccotelli

I would love to help you out! I totally understand why you need help with cleaning the art room. When I was in elementary, we had to clean the art room the whole day because someone decided to paint the walls. It took us all day long to remove all of the paint. But my teacher did not get angry because she said these things happen all the time since we are still trying to explore what we can do with art.

    Welcome to my Art Blog! It is my 4th year teaching in a New York City public school and I couldn't be any more delighted that it has been with P.S.31q. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Education (B.F.A.) from LIU POST as well as a Master's in Fine Arts (M.F.A). also from LIU POST. My theory in practice for all grades is to teach through the Elements and Principles of Design. (i.e. line, color, shape, form, pattern etc.) The students get a well rounded arts education with introduction to artists and art history. It is my goal to aid your children in their other subjects by integrating what they are learning in their classrooms. I hope you enjoy the projects they are bringing home as much as I love teaching them!
